Life’s meaning is in it’s innate meaninglessness. The only meaning that life, or anything, has is what we give it. Meaning and depth are defined by the individual human perspective. Not by the characteristics of what a certain thing, event or ‘piece’ already have, or the predetermination’s of another. (“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”: One man’s fulfillment is another man’s emptiness; one man’s complexity is another mans simplicity; One god to a demon; One demon to a god; and this, infinitely vice versa.) For we shall always find those who we disagree with on our perception of meaning and depth (the ‘profound’ and the ‘unprofound’), therefore no definitive answer can ever be given. You may see or hear differently than what an artist has intended, but it is this infinitely differentiating perspective of all things that brings forth the true beauty that is being alive. Life is contradiction manifested and this should be embraced by humanity as a whole. Although the universe is vast and complex in scientific and ‘unscientific’ ways our realities, as human beings, are shaped from within. Your attitude, your beliefs, your perception and all your general feelings towards everything are what make your reality, ‘real’ and never forget that your reality affects all other realities. Whatever you believe in is real. It is real to you, but it may not be real to another. Multiple truths are the answer and narrowness will be the death of us all. Acceptance is absolute key. So do not lose your imagination because someone tells you otherwise. I have felt my creativity stifled by the words and actions of others and I have equally felt the damage done by my own attitudes and perceptions. Negativity has its place in the world, do not discredit its validation simply because it ‘hurts’, has the ability to hurt, or does not bring immediate self-gratification in the ‘traditional way’ (vaguely put; happiness, uplifting-ness, etc.). Negativity can be used for positive output and there is an infinite supply of evidence to support this (Contradictions of Life). If this was my only letter to anyone ever I would tell you to feel everything and let yourself envelop and embrace life as a whole in all its pleasures and pains and let my words, your life, your actions, anything become an aid to ascend humanity to a form of global undenial so that we are free from self indulgent lies and ignorance that bind us to primitive actions and perspectives so we may be free to relish and bask in all of life’s joys and all of life’s sorrows.
It is these things that allow us to create and perceive ‘art’ as more than just pictures, sound, and/or anything. It is these things that allows us to feel what we are witnessing/experiencing in our own way. Being human, having a “free and open mind" lets us turn anything into art.
Give your life meaning. And on the days of absolute emptiness, perfected loneliness, and the unbearable unsilence of the voice inside, I say keep searching for your way to turn life, or even just that moment or any moment into something that you feel has some kind of validation to happen. Give it your meaning, give it your body and your mind because life is meaningless without you.
